South By Southwest, the popular Austin Texas area film festival has been canceled. But thankfully many event organizers are taking the events online. ComicsPro Sends Email to Remind Retailers to Order FOC From Diamond


Not sure if ComicsPro is picking sides between Diamond and the two new publishers that have sprung up since the Diamond shut down, but the Comic Retail Organization, ComicsPro, has sent out an email reminding of FOC dates. Blind Adam Hidde Gems Vol. 116

Greetings to my Comics Heating Up family. Thank for reading this each and every week. Thank you to everyone I have talked to during this difficult time. This is a weird time for comics, popular culture, and the world at large. Lets remember to help and love one another during this time. I wanted to point out  a few things before we jump in. First off Batman/The Flash The Button is an amazing story I think we will see some pay offs from this book down the road still. Second, I think the Green Hornet TV show is better then the 66 Batman show at times. Mark Millar’s Sharky the Bounty Hunter is a fun read and I hope we get a movie or a cartoon or something soon. Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems Vol. 115

Greetings my Comics Heating Up family. How is everyone holding up during this locked down time? Hope your all safe, healthy, and enjoying some amazing entertainment and making money online. Before we make money with comics I want to point a few things out, Fantastic Four X-Men #3, Hell Arises #4, and Spawn #306 were my reads of the week. The Chilling Tales of Sabrina season 3 was epic. I really enjoyed Birds of Prey and I am excited for May 1st as we get the rest of Rick and Morty season 4. Boom Studios to Begin Distributing Graphic Novels Through Simon and Schuster

It is not single issues, but the direct market is starting up again, without Diamond, as Boom has announced Trade paper backs and graphic novels will be released to retailers through Simon and Schuster.
