Back again. Halloween Friday, Saturday kids set up a table at a local craft “convention”, and Sunday I went to a small show and hit some shops. Been a busy end of October, and start to November. The rest of the year is just going to fly by…So I’m just going to dive right in and not waste any more time.

DIRTY D’s F.O.C. PICKS – 10/19/25

New York Comic Con has come and gone. And by now most everyone has opened up their Spears Blind bags. It’s been an exciting week, for sure.

Baltimore Comic Con is going on. Trunk or Treats and House of Horrors are going on…and Halloween is right around the corner. It’s like a month long celebration! Oktoberfest…Scotchtoberfest, even! No wonder why October is my favorite Month.

New York Comic Con (NYCC) concluded another successful event, as more than 250,000 attendees made their way through the Javits Center from October 9 through October 12 to experience the best of fandom and pop culture, from a star-studded celebrity lineup, to iconic comic creators, must-have merch, captivating cosplay, and so much more. Attracting visitors nationwide, this year’s NYCC is projected to have delivered an estimated $35 million boost to New York City’s economy, according to figures from New York City Tourism + Conventions.
