Wool #1 a missed pick of the week

No surprise, I like small press books. I usually look right at the small press listings when I do the picks of the week. I also like books that pull from other genres as it can bring in readers and collectors in the cross over categories. So I am really surprised I missed this gem, Hugh Howey’s Wool #1

Five Ghosts- More SDCC Spec and hint at media deal?

Five Ghosts is one of my favorite books. I have had a chance to meet Frank Barbiere and Chris Mooneyham a couple of times. Even had a signing event for readers way back in the day (still have some copies left over.) Frank is genuinely a nice guy, and if you are at SDCC this year you should stop by the booth. Frank is such a nice guy he often stops by the CGC message boards and drops nuggets of goodness.
