No surprise, I like small press books. I usually look right at the small press listings when I do the picks of the week. I also like books that pull from other genres as it can bring in readers and collectors in the cross over categories. So I am really surprised I missed this gem, Hugh Howey’s Wool #1
The Diamond Comics Advanced Reorder List shows books of serious interest, this can often be valuable to speculators. These are the books that shops are going back and trying to get more of before they are released. These books can be new series with buzz, second printings of recent sold out books, second issues of a new series, or a new story line that has fans buzzing. Here is this weeks list:

Five Ghosts is one of my favorite books. I have had a chance to meet Frank Barbiere and Chris Mooneyham a couple of times. Even had a signing event for readers way back in the day (still have some copies left over.) Frank is genuinely a nice guy, and if you are at SDCC this year you should stop by the booth. Frank is such a nice guy he often stops by the CGC message boards and drops nuggets of goodness.
