Here is a variant that could be good. Continue reading “Variant Envy: Solarman #1 CBFS Variant”

Image Comics to Release 1:100 Ratio Variant For New Book Reborn

img_4972
Regular cover shown

Image Comics is releasing a 1:100 variant for an upcoming book called Reborn. The new series is by Mark Millar and Greg Capullo. This may not seem odd except not long ago, Image Publisher Eric Stephenson took a stand against variants. He said he did not feel that they were good for comics. Yet, for the first time in a long while, possibly since the Big Man Plans #1 1:100 variant, Image is doing a ratio variant. So, for Image to be putting out a ratio variant, and a high ratio variant is a pretty big deal.   Continue reading “Image Comics to Release 1:100 Ratio Variant For New Book Reborn”

Agent Poyo’s Picks of the Week for July 20th, 2016

As I’m writing this, it is day 4 with the wife out of town and I have not eaten my kids yet being left totally in charge of the little monkey’s. We survived a day trip to the beach where we caught zero fish but I managed to burn my back due to crappy sunblock. As Wednesday approaches, I’m still ticked on my last Midtown order that came damaged, all 20 comics. Okay, one survived major damage where I’m keeping it but the rest are being sent back for replacements and a few were out of stock so I just get my money back. Surprisingly customer service put up zero hassle unlike Anthony’s luck with his Comic Con box.
So enough of my ramblings, let’s get on with the picks, the Poyo Picks, the only picks you should be reading.. forget about those guys Mel and Anthony with their picks, I know what I’m talking about.. at least 2% of the time, maybe…. at least I think.
