Black #1 Comicsheatingup.net Variant

Comicsheatingup.net is proud to announce their exclusive variant for Black Mask Studios comic Black #1. The Black and White Comicsheatingup.net variant is limited to 250 copies.
Black is a what if story, What If only black people had superpowers. Think of the X-Men Tag Line “In a world that fears and hates them.” We have been covering the book since before it was picked up by Black Mask, in fact, Mel spotlighted it as a Future Hits From the Kick(starter) book many months ago.  Continue reading “Black #1 Comicsheatingup.net Variant”

Poyo's Picks of the Week for Sept 14, 2016

Another week, another new comic book Wednesday. I should just skip a few weeks, I’m so far behind in my readings it’s not even funny. I’m sad to say my favorite local shop is closing down, due to landlord issues. No new comics until the end of October when he’s being forced out and that’s just not enough time to find a new shop to operate out of. The owner is entertaining the idea of selling, so if anyone’s in the market of buying a comic book store, well, you’ll have to find a new location…
Enough with the sad news, let’s get on with the picks of the week. Continue reading “Poyo's Picks of the Week for Sept 14, 2016”

Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems Vol. 26

Greetings to my Comics Heating Up and Awesomesauce families. Before getting to the list of books, I would first like to say thank you. Thank you for reading each and every week. I love writing this and I am so thankful to Tony for allowing me to play in his sandbox. By next week I should be able to talk and reveal what the secret project I have been working on is all about. Also, two observations: one, why are some fan films better then major Hollywood blockbusters?? has anyone seen the Gotham City Sirens fan film? My other observation is, why did we need another round of marvel hip hop variants? Well now that I said my piece, it is time to make some money on some comics because you can’t teach that! Continue reading “Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems Vol. 26”

Yahoo releases first look at Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider on Marvel Agents of SHIELD

Looks like it is time for me to catch up on Marvel’s Agents of Shield as, we previously mentioned, Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider will be appearing on screen. The first image of Reyes Ghost Rider costume was released and it looks pretty good, accurate to the comic too.
