I’m taking us back to 1972 with a Jack Kirby creation that was created due to a request by DC for a horror type comic and character.
This Throwback Thursday I wrote up way before I mentioned this next character that entered our lives way back in March of 1966. Another great character from the mind of the great Jack Kirby. That character is none other than, the Silver Surfer.
This Thursday we go back to the early days of the X-Men. It’s hard to imagine these next two characters were introduced so early on, since we’ve now been accustomed to seeing them alongside the Avengers lately.
Last week we visited the year 1991. Now we go back 20 more years to 1971 where the world was introduced to a new DC character by one of the most known comic book artists and creators, Mr. Jack Kirby.
