Agent Poyo’s Picks of the Week for July 20th, 2016
As I’m writing this, it is day 4 with the wife out of town and I have not eaten my kids yet being left totally in charge of the little monkey’s. We survived a day trip to the beach where we caught zero fish but I managed to burn my back due to crappy sunblock. As Wednesday approaches, I’m still ticked on my last Midtown order that came damaged, all 20 comics. Okay, one survived major damage where I’m keeping it but the rest are being sent back for replacements and a few were out of stock so I just get my money back. Surprisingly customer service put up zero hassle unlike Anthony’s luck with his Comic Con box.
So enough of my ramblings, let’s get on with the picks, the Poyo Picks, the only picks you should be reading.. forget about those guys Mel and Anthony with their picks, I know what I’m talking about.. at least 2% of the time, maybe…. at least I think.

Self Published Spotlight: Endigo Society
From time to time we like to spotlight artists doing Kickstarter funded books. They are great do it yourself books that do not get the attention they deserve. Not to mention it is the breeding ground of some great writers and artists who could go on to be big stars. The guys I really like to talk to are the guys who are even more entrenched in creating comics, and funding the books themselves. This is how I met Norwick Robinson and learned about his book Endigo Society. Continue reading “Self Published Spotlight: Endigo Society”
