Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has accepted the MPAA’s “R” rating for its upcoming animated film, Batman: The Killing Joke, choosing to remain true to the landmark DC Comics graphic novel’s violent, controversial story, and making the film the first non-PG/PG-13 rated movie in the nine-year history of the DC Universe Original Movie franchise.

JLA's Watchtower to Appear in Justice League Movie
Here is a cheap spec for you. It is a little thin to go on at the moment but comes from a legitimate source. Agent Poyo’s Picks of the Week for April 13th, 2016
Each week, hundreds of new books come out.. yes, a line stolen straight from Tony’s mouth in his picks of the week post. I’m here to tell you that only a few are worthy of being picks, because Super Secret Agent Poyo is picky and can’t afford every new book (sorry, Secret Agents are not rich, don’t let James Bond or Ninjak fool you, we’re poor as heck).
Anyways, lots of new books are coming out this week.. so let’s pick the winners (or the most interesting to pick up and just enjoy to read). Continue reading “Agent Poyo’s Picks of the Week for April 13th, 2016”

Spec, Selling, and Taxes
I talked to several people lately and thought it would be a good idea to bring this up. This is especially timely, for me, as I just met with my CPA this weekend to have my taxes done. So, I decided to have an open, and hopefully informative, discussion on selling comics on eBay and paying taxes. The truth is, if you are selling on eBay, you could end up paying taxes. Is Elodie Yung the Perfect Elektra?
A while back we posted the trailer for the second season of Netflix’s Daredevil season, and that season is now up online. While the response hasn’t been quite as universally positive as that for the first season, critics and fans alike have largely been pleased with the effort. In particular, a plot line focused largely on questions of morality has proven to be intriguing, and the presence of Jon Bernthal in the role of Frank Castle (aka The Punisher) has been very well received.
