Agent Poyo's Picks of the Week for April 6th, 2016

Hey look, a more promising and exciting week from the last few weeks. I’ve actually stayed under budget the past few weeks (although I did score some Superman American Alien #1 and #2 this past weekend).
How about that Walking Dead finale? Negan finally showed up and it was almost stright from the comics. Looks like all those Walking Dead #100 issues are selling like hot cakes. Now’s the time to sell’em if you got them. Or you can wait, this is a character that is likely going to be sticking around so expect possibly Governor type prices once supplies start drying up. I know there’s a lot of them out there but soon enough, even the variant covers will start to heat up as well.
So, let’s get on with this weeks picks. Continue reading “Agent Poyo's Picks of the Week for April 6th, 2016”

The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead 100 and 108

Negan. Sure, there will be a lot of talk about that, and we will get to it in a minute, but Ezekiel and the Kingdom is what we are going to focus on first. Sunday night’s The Walking Dead Season Finale had a lot of good imagery that fans should be excited about. For me, the one that made me very happy was the scene with the two guys in body armor, previously shown here running into Morgan. Continue reading “The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead 100 and 108”

Karma (and Stupidity) Leads to Comic Shop Burglar Arrest

Thanks to Mycomicpulllist for sending this over.
I know we all hate it, hearing a comic shop was broken into and burglarized. Valuable collectibles stolen to never be recovered. Not to mention, even if the shop is insured, replacing the comics can be very hard. That is why this story made me smile. Continue reading “Karma (and Stupidity) Leads to Comic Shop Burglar Arrest”

Henchgirl Tv News Soon?

Mel hinted at things a few weeks back when he did his report from Big Apple Comic Con. He stopped by Kristen Gudsnuk’s booth. Mel said, “I predict HUGE things from her and Henchgirl stay tuned.
