New York Comic Con has come and gone. And by now most everyone has opened up their Spears Blind bags. It’s been an exciting week, for sure.

Baltimore Comic Con is going on. Trunk or Treats and House of Horrors are going on…and Halloween is right around the corner. It’s like a month long celebration! Oktoberfest…Scotchtoberfest, even! No wonder why October is my favorite Month.

Skybound, Image & Hasbro Announce Second Printing for TRANSFORMERS #25 by Robert Kirkman & Dan Mora

New York Comic Con Wraps 2025 Show with Over 250,000 in Attendance for Weekend of Celebrity Appearances

And that’s a wrap! New York Comic Con (NYCC) concluded another successful event, as more than 250,000 attendees made their way through the Javits Center from October 9 through October 12 to experience the best of fandom and pop culture, from a star-studded celebrity lineup, to iconic comic creators, must-have merch, captivating cosplay, and so much more. Attracting visitors nationwide, this year’s NYCC is projected to have delivered an estimated $35 million boost to New York City’s economy, according to figures from New York City Tourism + Conventions. DIRTY D’s F.O.C. PICKS – OCTOBER 12, 2025

The New York Comic Convention of 2025 has come and gone. I attended two days (Friday & Saturday) and I will say those who attend for 4 days, I don’t know how you do it. I initially regretted not going Thursday, but after Friday’s craziness I felt more at ease with the decision to keep it to two. That is enough for this old man.

NYCC 2025- Prime Video Unmasks Premiere Date and Trailer for Upcoming DC Series Bat-Fam

The Bat-Family is back, and they’ve got a lot more than crime-fighting on their plates.  Today at New York Comic Con, Prime Video unveiled the official trailer and premiere date for BAT-FAM,  the all-new animated series from DC and Warner Bros. Animation. The half-hour action-comedy is a follow-up to the hit holiday film, MERRY LITTLE BATMAN, and will be available to watch November 10 on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
