Bestselling comic book titan Mark Millar (Jupiter’s Legacy, Kingsman: The Secret Service) has created a new series at Netflix in his Millarworld department, but he’s also adapting this into a comic book series too. Re-teaming with fan favorite artist Matteo Scalera (Black Science), the first appearance of this new character will now appear in King of Spies #1, a spectacular four issue miniseries launching from Image Comics in December.

New York Comic Con is quickly approaching this weekend. For the first time in years (well last year didn’t count as the show didn’t happen) I will not be attending. If you do not follow the book, its a great story which focuses on Cole Turner, who works for the Department of Truth, they police conspiracies, helping to decide what is real and what is not. We get a major plot twist dealing with the leader of the Department of Truth, Lee Harvey Oswald. See below for spoilers.

I haven’t done a trade and hardcover pick in quite a while, so here we go.
We shouldn’t just collect or flip books, we should also read them. A good story can make your purchase well worth the money spent if you ask me. After all, we buy books to read for entertainment right? Even if you can’t flip them, reading is just as rewarding.
