Sunflower Dead mixing comic book influence with music

I found this interesting. The band Sunflower Dead are mixing comic book influences with their music. The bands new video features a distinctive comic book background, along with zombie makeup, and an accordian in Dance With Death. I am sure the metal music won’t be for everyone but is cool to check out how even music is being influenced by comic books more and more. Sunflower Dead’s new album came out on 10/30. Thanks to Steven Biscotti at What’cha Reading” for the interview with Kristen Gudsnuk

Today sees the long awaited release of one of our most anticipated of comic books – “Henchgirl.” The writer and artist, Kristen Gudsnuk, is someone we’ve known for a while and long supported. We saw her at New York Comic Con earlier this month and with the release of “Henchgirl” at local comic shops today (10/28/15) we thought now would be the perfect time to talk with the young, up and coming talent. Always generous with her time, Gudsnuk spoke with us over the weekend and here is our conversation with one of the brightest and friendliest of people in the business! Variant Envy: Dark Knight III Master Race #1

dkIII comicxposure

It would be an understatement to say there are going to be a ton of covers for Dark Knight III the Master Race #1. This is going to be a big book, both in size and sales. Expect this one to take the #1 slot for the month in both dollars and number of copies sold, unless Marvel pulls some trick to bump it into second place (they have done that before.) Anyway, our friends at ComicXposure.com ran a cover gallery showing off twenty-one of the covers. Continue reading “Variant Envy: Dark Knight III Master Race #1”
