Scout Comics acquired the rights to former WWE stars Marc Copani and Shad Gaspard’s debut comic book a year or so ago. Tragically, Shad died in May of this year while saving his son from drowning. We here at Scout are proud to present two special tribute covers of Marc & Shad’s comic, with all profits going to the Gaspard family. Free Comic Book Day, mass producing cheap copies of comics for shops to give away in hopes of gaining new customers. While the print runs on the books are large, many are store stamped, or ripped apart by kids, or just not treated well. Not saying they are rare, but they can end up being valuable. Aloha CHUniverse and welcome back to Weekend Specs! This week we focus on the Green Lanterns coming to media and the Flashpoint movie. Flashpoint should be easy for most as we already have done a weekend specs for it when it happened on the CW. People have said over and over again that Free Comic Book day books aren’t worth anything, but time and again books pop up that end up being worth money, even with the comics being mass produced in great quantities. The Halloween Comic Fest Version of Ultimate Fallout 4 is a great example (OK I know it is technically not a FCBD edition, but same thing really). Here is one worth looking for.
