The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead 100 and 108

Negan. Sure, there will be a lot of talk about that, and we will get to it in a minute, but Ezekiel and the Kingdom is what we are going to focus on first. Sunday night’s The Walking Dead Season Finale had a lot of good imagery that fans should be excited about. For me, the one that made me very happy was the scene with the two guys in body armor, previously shown here running into Morgan. Continue reading “The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead 100 and 108”

Karma (and Stupidity) Leads to Comic Shop Burglar Arrest

Thanks to Mycomicpulllist for sending this over.
I know we all hate it, hearing a comic shop was broken into and burglarized. Valuable collectibles stolen to never be recovered. Not to mention, even if the shop is insured, replacing the comics can be very hard. That is why this story made me smile. Continue reading “Karma (and Stupidity) Leads to Comic Shop Burglar Arrest”

Randomly Inserted Original Art in X-O Manowar issues ##47-50

Thanks to DrunkWookie for this one:
Through anecdotal evidence from a couple local comic shops, I have heard that X-O sales have been flagging. I’ll disclose my bias up front here: I love Valiant! Anybody who is getting sick and tired of the “Big Two” and what they keep doing to pump up sales should give Valiant a look. Are Marvel’s events too frequent, long, expensive, and pervasive?
