Last week was exciting for us comic flippers and speculators. If you missed one book, there was likely another book you could grab to flip and sell. One surprise I think was Avengers with the Voyager appearance. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Avengers book heat up in the same week of release like #676 did.

Hopefully everyone survived their family this past Thanksgiving week. If you went shopping on Thursday, shame on you. If you went shopping on Friday morning, you’re brave and also stupid at the same time but hopefully you had enough turkey and food to last a few more days. Getting close to the end of the year and things are getting busy. I have been swamped at work this week so have spent so much time on that I have almost forgot what is important. Comics. Our weekly break from the grind to get to the shops and get the good reads, spec pics, possible flips, back issues, and excuse to hide in the bathroom for 10 minutes to read the latest adventure of our favorite characters, you married guys (and gals and, heck, anyone who has seen “This is 40”) know what I am talking about

MondoCon was great this year. Lots of great art, great guests. The panels I attended were interesting with good insight on upcoming Mondo toys and what goes on in the minds of the comic book creators but now, it’s time to move on though, to the best day of the week, new comic book day.
