Variants of the Week 12/18/2019
This weeks was a cover lover’s delight. Heck even DC put on a strong showing. There was three #1 issues that caught my eye. 5 indie titles. Submissions by Inhyuk Lee; Artgerm; Clayton Crain, Jeff Lemire, Jenny Frison, and Catherine Nodet ensured that I’ll have to make hard decisions at the next trip to the LCS. Variants of the Week 12/11/2019
Art Wise this was an amazing week that was a welcome sight after last week’s lackluster showing. 7 of these were released indies and 6 were done by what I consider modern masters. It was difficult to determine opening interest due to organic low estimates. I did see a lot of good readers out there, but nothing that necessarily driving sales as of yet.
