DC Launches Foil Variants for October
DC Comics has done some pretty cool things with cover priced variants. They started out with lenticular covers a few years back. The repeated it a little while later. They launched their B cover program with big name artists, which they later made the trade dress smaller to make them more like virgin variants. Quick Spoilers: Cosmic Ghost Rider #2 Just What is Howard the Duck Doing on the Cover of #3

If you have seen the preview of the cover for Cosmic Ghost Rider #3 (shown to the left), you have seen Cable, a mash-up of Groot and Rocket, a female Captain America, and a very Juggernaut suited duck on the cover. Of course the solicitation gives us a key to what could be up, simply, “COSMIC GHOST RIDER VS. THE FUTURE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY FOR THE FATE OF THE UNIVERSE!”. Quick Spoilers: Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur #33

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur has been one of the most entertaining reads coming out from Marvel, for me, for a while. I blame Mel for turning me on to this book. It has also been a pretty consistent spec pic. A few of the recent issues have popped up in value and have been great quick flips. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur #33 seems to be one people may be chasing come Wednesday. It features a new character that might be of interest.
