Blind Adam's Hidden Gems Vol. 30
Greetings to my Comics Heating up & Awesomesauce families. I am now recovered from the 2016 New York comic-con. It was such a blast . If you have never been to a major comic book convention or have visited the place I call home, New York, city then you must try NYCC next year.
I had such a blast hanging out with Anthony, Agent Poyo and Tyson B. on Thursday night. We got lost in the subway, ate New York style pizza, drank beer, and chatted comic books and life. It was such awesome-sauce. Continue reading “Blind Adam's Hidden Gems Vol. 30”
Poyo's Picks for October 12, 2016
So NYCC was a blast. It was nice meeting people and hanging with Anthony and Tyson from ToyBoxOne. Met Mel as well, but with the crowds and such, we all sort of went our own way at times. Shout out to Larry as well from Larry’s Comics, great pleasure to finally meet you in person.
A huge thanks to Anthony though for hooking us up with hotel reservations, con connections and that uber ride back to the airport on the way out of the city on Sunday, back to our regularly scheduled programmed lives.
Since I survived the weekend, let’s talk about comics some more shall we? It’s a huge week this week and there is just literally tons of good stuff hitting the shelves. So I’m going to change it up again. I’m going to stick with my DC and Marvel Picks, but then I’m going to make sure there’s always an Indie pick, which will hopefully be my main focus. Yes, out of the dozens of comics I pick up each week, I’m going to narrow it down to just one pick I think you should either read, keep or flip. Sometimes I might think it will be a quick flip. Sometimes it might just be something you hold onto for a long time. So let’s move on. Continue reading “Poyo's Picks for October 12, 2016”

NYCC 2016 Variant Update
Going to cons can be expensive, it is easy to spend way more than you want and worry about justifying it later. One way people offset the cost is by flipping con exclusives.
Most cons have exclusives, NYCC, like SDCC, has tons of exclusives. I will have Mel, or Tyson B. from www.toyboxone.com give a bit on that later, but here is how things are performing: Continue reading “NYCC 2016 Variant Update”

Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems Vol. 29
Greetings to my Comics Heating Up and Awesomesauce families. Thank you all for reading this each and every week. Three brief thoughts before we make some money on some comics.
1. Chicken Fries from Burger King are the greatest thing ever invented.
2. Amazing Spiderman #18 was a great read, why can’t this be the focus instead of the damn clones.
3. Can we please have some cos-play love for classic girls from the 1970’s era
Spiderwpman, Dazzler & Silver Banshee? Please make em cos-play all stars
Now let’s make money on comics, because you can’t teach that

The last time Harley appeared in Scooby Doo Team up, issue #12, it caused quite a stir for a while.
