Phoenix Comic Fest 2018 Wrap Up

Phoenix Comic Fest (formerly Phoenix Comicon) took place over the Memorial Day weekend.  2017 was a rough year for the event: staffing issues, near shooting incident, and taking on SDCC over the use of ‘comic con’ name. That’s all in the past now and they have revamped the con for 2018 in many ways. Collecting Carol Danvers Pt. 2

Last summer, I wrote a Carol Danvers keys check list. I have continued to monitor many of these books and it seems after April 15, 2018. a majority of the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel books have seemed to spiked. Phoenix Comic Con Wrap up 2016

I have professed my love for Phoenix Comicon here before; the atmosphere, the organization, guests, etc. We are fortunate in Phoenix to have a local group put on a show of this magnitude. It was another great year despite a heat wave that had temperatures as high as 115. The crowds were the biggest ever and many vendors I spoke with had a great show if not their best.
