I am more of a Halloween guy than a Christmas guy, but the whole winter season is dark and foreboding. One of the Yuletide myths I love is Krampus. If you are not familiar he is the anti-Santa. He would ride around with Santa and punish the bad kids. Whipped if they were lucky, thrown in his sack and taken home with him if they weren’t. But I digress. Dark Horse is putting out Hellboy Krampusnacht on December 20th. It features the dream team of story by Mike Mignola and cover and art by Adam Hughes. There is a killer pencil cover as well. Doomsday Clock #1 is out this Wednesday from DC Comics. It is the event people have been waiting for since Rebirth hit. It marks the return of the Watchmen.
