This weeks was a cover lover’s delight. Heck even DC put on a strong showing. There was three #1 issues that caught my eye. 5 indie titles. Submissions by Inhyuk Lee; Artgerm; Clayton Crain, Jeff Lemire, Jenny Frison, and Catherine Nodet ensured that I’ll have to make hard decisions at the next trip to the LCS. Art Wise this was an amazing week that was a welcome sight after last week’s lackluster showing. 7 of these were released indies and 6 were done by what I consider modern masters. It was difficult to determine opening interest due to organic low estimates. I did see a lot of good readers out there, but nothing that necessarily driving sales as of yet.
