What Up CHU? Mel V. here with my Baltimore Comic Con Weekend review. Let me start off by saying “WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!” This is my 3rd trip to Baltimore Comic Con and I must say this was by far the best time I’ve had there (not saying the other times were bad, but this was epic). Each year Baltimore Comic Con has gotten better and better. As far as comic conventions, Baltimore  is the best in terms of comics, deals, venue, and crowd. It’s a convention where up and coming creators can go and pitch their books and art to a well receptive crowd, it’s a convention where as a buyer, you can find amazing deals from some great vendors, as well as getting your books graded by CGC in the same weekend. We nailed this one the other day when we discovered that Artgerm would have a 1:100 variant for the upcoming Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey series and went on Artgerm’s Twitter account to find recent Phoenix artwork. One of the perks of getting in the Baltimore Comic Con early was getting in line for Lee Bermejo to get him to sign a bunch of comics. I also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get him to do a commission for me. There were so many things I wanted him to do, Swamp Thing, Moon Knight, Batman, but I went with one of the most popular characters out there, Harley Quinn.
