Comics and Graphic Novel Sales Up 5% in 2016 according to New Estimate by ICv2 and Comichron
The comics and graphic novel market grew 5% in 2016, according to a new joint estimate by Comichron’s John Jackson Miller and ICv2’s Milton Griepp. Total comics and graphic novel sales to consumers in the U.S. and Canada reached $1.085 billion in 2016, a $55 million increase over sales in 2015. Alana's Weekend Specs: Meet the Klyntars


Aloha CHUniverse and welcome back to Weekend Specs. Don’t let the title fool you were shoving more Venom down your throats this week. The symbiote race in Marvel comics is also known as the Klyntar race. The Klyntar’s origin has recently been revealed on the Guardians of Galaxy cartoon, Thanos brings the race to Groots home planet and conducts experiments on them creating the raging symbiotes. So this week I’m bringing you all the symbiotes I haven’t written up in the past along with a checklist for the other symbiotes we have already discussed in other Weekend Specs. Also it’s  time to get ready for Hellboy if you haven’t yet. Cruzzer's Carol Danvers Keys Checklist

Until the last several years, Carol Danvers for a long time has been somewhat of a background individual as far as the main players in the Marvel Universe. In the 70s, she had a solo title as the super hero Ms. Marvel, who was also pushed in and out of the Avengers often. Now she has become one of the centers characters in The Marvel Universe. 20 months from now, (March 2019) Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) will be debuting on movie theater screens all around the world as part of Phase Three in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am going to give CHU readers a quick run-down of Carol Danvers books of key books, some which you should start seeking out NOW before they are out of reach.
