Welcome to my own weekly spec which includes my weekly drek picks. I pick what I think will be winners, not only if you make money by flipping but winners as in either a great read or just awesome art.
Then there’s the pesky drek, the comic you should avoid altogether or not fall into the buying every variant trap.
Greetings my Comics Heating Up family. I want to just say to my friend and a mentor Dennis O’Neil rest in peace. Thank you for your body of work from Batman to Daredevil, from Spiderman and beyond. Thank you for all of our convention chats as I met Denny at a Big Apple Comiccon many years ago and we have been friends ever since. Aloha CHUniverse and welcome back to Weekend Specs! I always talk about things I like so I’m going to switch it up this week and talk about something I loathe, reprints. I learned my lesson way back when with Kamala Khan that reprints matter. I could of had a 2nd print for $15 instead I chose a 1st print for $30 , I’ve been buying reprints that matter every since and I hate every time I have to purchase one. These things have taken off whether we like it or not and time to get aboard the train. Books like Venom #3 3rd print and ASM #569 2nd prints are taking off don’t be left out in the cold, buy, sell, flip. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Alana’s Weekend Specs: Revenge Of The Reprints”
