Sleeper from Ed Brubaker film by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon
Gritty superhero noir story Sleeper by Ed Brubaker is being picked up as a movie. The book Sleeper, put out through Wildstorm is being helmed by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Damon and Affleck are producing the movie through the Pearl Street production company.

The Diamond Comics Advanced Reorder List is a good tool to see what is going to be hot. It is the list of the most re-ordered books leading up the the final order cut off. This is the list of books retailers went back to Diamond and asked for more. Sandman Overture Commercial Airs on TV
Vertigo did something cool I have’t seen in a long time. The aired a commercial for one of their current books, Sandman Overture. I saw it while catching up on last weeks American Horror Story: Coven. The video can be seen here and is done in the motion comic format. Hopefully it will bring in some of the non-comic readers who read The Sandman. It highlights the fact there hasn’t been a new Sandman comic in 17 years.
