Comic Book picks of the week for 9/25/13
This is a big week for books. One of the year’s biggest and most anticipated books drops this week. That book, of course, is the 3d cover featuring Joker’s Daughter. The character that first appeared in Batman Family #6 or Catwoman #23 depending on who is under that mask. Needless to say get a 3d copy and flip it. Get a 2d copy and read it. Or get which ever and do what ever with it. It is going to be big and has already been going for crazy money. But besides Joker’s darling daughter, there are a bunch of other books you shouldn’t miss out on cause they look like the could heat up.

DC Comics Villains Month 3d Covers week 4 available for pre-order
Well week three are in the can. I have looked at some of the auctions for this weeks books and they are selling for around double cover. Not bad if you can double your money in a day. Week four is just seven short days away. Here are the week 4 3d covers I have found still available for pre-order at 20% off. These won’t last as the others have not.

Wednesday’s sold out books
There are a couple of books coming out this week that are sold out at the distributor level and worth a pick up. Selling out at the distributor level does not mean you cannot find them in stores, but they may sell out quickly, and once they do, the stores cannot reorder first prints.

Sometimes books don’t sell out immediately so its worth taking a look back at series that came out in the past few months !
Comics can sell out very quickly so some titles on this list will be more valuable instantly the day of release !
Keep in mind that with 1500 comic stores – if even 20% of stores re-ordered just 1 copy each that would be 300 more copies sold !
So any comics on the list that still have copies left I guarantee are going to eventually all sell out.

Diamond Comics Advanced reorder list for 8/16/13
Normally, the Diamond Comics advanced reorder list gives speculators a good idea on what is heating up based on what retailers are scrambling to reorder before final order cut off. This week it tells us only one thing, GET THE 3-D DC covers for yourself and for flipping if you can. All the books have been allocated to stores. You may not get the covers. These books have already started selling for multiple times cover price before they have been released. They are sold out. Standard covers are being sent to fill the demand, but not sure anyone will care about the standard covers.

Cult Fiction Comics Comic shop review
One of the greatest things about traveling, for me at least, is to check out comic shops in the areas I go to. I plan on doing more reviews on shops, but have only done one so far and I gave it a horrible review. Today I hit several shops on my way to Philadelphia up 95 N and one really stood out above the rest.
Cult Fiction Comics located at 3103 Chichester Ave in Boothwyn, Pa is a fantastic shop. My iPhone’s Gps is set to pick up Comic shops along my route. It also drains the battery. These guys are located right off 95, maybe a three mile detour, and are worth stopping in for.
‘Watson and Holmes’ an interview with Brandon Perlow
I had the privilege to be contacted by New Paradigm studios president Brandon Perlow in reference to their new book ‘Watson and Holmes.’ He was a great guy to talk to via email and agreed to an interview about his company, the smash book, and what else they have coming down the pipeline.
