Agent Poyo’s Picks of the Week for 12/9/15
Another Week, Another Wednesday. I got the great pleasure in meeting Greg Pak (Totally Awesome Hulk) along with the lovely Marjorie Liu (Monstress) this past week at a local signing. Too very talented writers and comic book creators. So it wasn’t a bad week and weekend for me.
If your not reading Monstress, you should. Great story, top notch art work.
Also I’ll throw it out there if you have kids who love disgusting things, Pak has a kickstarter for an alphabet book of disgusting things. You can check it out at ABCDisgusting.com. He’s also Kingsway West coming soon, I think it was slated for November but probably got pushed back. I think it’s planned to be under Dark Horse. Check it out at KingswayWest.com

Agent Poyo’s Picks of the week for delivery 11/24/15
This week, Poyo can relax since everyone wants to eat turkey instead of chickens. All those poor turkey’s.. this weeks picks are in honor of their sacrifice of filling our bellies.
Also, Poyo would like to remind everyone that Thanksgiving isn’t about those damn Pilgrims coming to America, learning how to grow food and get along with the natives, it’s about having the damn day off, which everyone should enjoy. So if you can, do not give into the hype of having to go shop at Wally World on Thanksgiving evening, let those greedy corporations know that their employees should have the day off just as much as anyone else. So be kind and instead wake up at 3am on Friday morning to go stand out in front of a store to save a few bucks you crazy crazy people.. I’ll be sleeping in on Friday since I already got most of my shopping done weeks ago.

Last week I spent way too much money. The winner was Straightjacket #1 from Amigo Press which I almost picked but I knew Anthony was going to pick it due to his love of horror. On a side note, Straightjacket #2

Force Friday has passed.. where all the nerds rushed out at midnight to gobble up all the good action figures to inflate the prices on eBay only to make us normal people who like to sleep have to just wait a few weeks until the prices come back down to real world prices. I survived the beach vacation without losing any limbs or getting bitten. Even avoided the blue crabs we were catching from pinching me.
