Well week three are in the can. I have looked at some of the auctions for this weeks books and they are selling for around double cover. Not bad if you can double your money in a day. Week four is just seven short days away. Here are the week 4 3d covers I have found still available for pre-order at 20% off. These won’t last as the others have not.

DC 3-d covers, which ones were you able to get

Just a quick question to you all, which covers did you get in the 3-d variant? Please respond in the comment section. Spoke to some retailers who said they didn’t bother putting them out, just were selling them on ebay. Spoke to others who were charging a premium. What were your experiences at your local store today? I hit Third Eye Comics in Annapolis Maryland today and they had a ton of each cover. Around noon today they still had all the covers in stock, limit one per customer, at cover price. 

Wednesday’s sold out books

There are a couple of books coming out this week that are sold out at the distributor level and worth a pick up. Selling out at the distributor level does not mean you cannot find them in stores, but they may sell out quickly, and once they do, the stores cannot reorder first prints.

Market watch ‘Steam Wars’

STEAM WARS (ANTARCTIC PRESS, 2013) #1 had a very small print run of only 2,399 copies and came out in April so it has 5 months to definitely sell out and heat up. 4 sales so far all at $14.99 each for #1 have helped dry up the entire market and now copies on ebay are priced at $25 to $30.00 each. #2 has an even smaller print run. #3 comes out next week! A steampunk version of Star Wars !! By Fred Perry (Gold Digger). This column is here to help promote brand new comic book series beginning with a #1 issue.

Pictured are this weeks new comic series selling out the fastest !

This weekly article will also take a close look at how popular the titles are and how close they are to selling out at Diamond.

This will give retailers and collectors a heads up with a reminder of books you want to make sure you get immediately!!

Sometimes books don’t sell out immediately so its worth taking a look back at series that came out in the past few months !

Comics can sell out very quickly so some titles on this list will be more valuable instantly the day of release !

Keep in mind that with 1500 comic stores – if even 20% of stores re-ordered just 1 copy each that would be 300 more copies sold !

So any comics on the list that still have copies left I guarantee are going to eventually all sell out.

Day Men Officially optioned for a movie by Universal
