One to Watch: Detective Comics #939

Since the Rebirth series started, the renumbered Detective Comics book has been really good. The Batman team, the new Batcave building in the middle of Gotham, and Clayface, has made the series really interesting to me. Walking Dead #157 is out this week. It is available in a regular cover and the Art Adams variant, which looks even more awesome in color. Whisper War starts here. It is a great issue, really good, and the book reads different because there are a ton of small panels in the books so there is more art and more story. Agent Poyo's Picks for August 3rd, 2016
Another week, another new comic book Wednesday. I finally caught up on some of the Rebirth titles I’ve been picking up and I must say, surprisingly one of the ones I like most so far is Titans. Batman is okay, not anything great yet. Wonder Woman is just kind of bland.. I swear if I see the phrase “the story keeps changing” I’m going to rip up the comic and send it back to Rucka with some dung in the package. Justice League wasn’t bad either.. I might pick up a few more to see where it’s going. Hitch is a much better writer than Rucka though.
