Every week, hundreds of new comic books hit the local shelves. Many of these are long ongoing titles while others come and go quickly, being mini-series or one shots.
Last fall we visited a bunch of the books and titles that had options or media deals that have not gone beyond the option or if they did, they’re still in the wee early stages of ever getting turned into a show.

It’s been a long time coming but finally we see the light at the end of the tunnel. Y: The Last Man from Vertigo Comics and the great writer Brian K. Vaughn is coming to life on our screens from FX networks which appears to likely be in 2020.
This series ran for 60 issues and has a huge cast of characters within the story line. We won’t know until the show airs if some of these characters are prominent or not as they’ll likely change it up a little bit in the show, nevertheless, this is hopefully a good starting point for key firsts for some of the characters in the story.
