Getting close to the end of the year and things are getting busy. I have been swamped at work this week so have spent so much time on that I have almost forgot what is important. Comics. Our weekly break from the grind to get to the shops and get the good reads, spec pics, possible flips, back issues, and excuse to hide in the bathroom for 10 minutes to read the latest adventure of our favorite characters, you married guys (and gals and, heck, anyone who has seen “This is 40”) know what I am talking about

Poyo's Picks for October 25th, 2017
Halloween is upon us. The Walking Dead Season 8 starting back up with the All Out War story line has me started in comparing the books with the show. We also get blessed with some new Stranger Things episodes with Season 2 coming out on Netflix. The Simpsons Halloween special was awesome this past Sunday as well. This is just a great time a year for entertainment.

Poyo's Picks for June 28th, 2017
Hey gang, it’s your favorite comic book picker on CHU. Anthony’s great guy but admit it, you guys love me more, but if you saw what I looked like you might not, so that’s going to remain a mystery for as long as possible. Just imagine what Anthony looks like but uglier.. that’s me!
Anyway, I’ve been so busy with work, I almost forgot bout these dang picks this week until Anthony texted me, demanding more out of his non-paid CHU employees (evil, evil Anthony, I had to take time out of paid employment to do this). Anthony doesn’t pay me, feed me or provide me with quarters.. so why do I do this? I honestly do not know.. Maybe I just like Anthony. Or maybe.. just maybe, I like being wrong each week. That’s probably it, but I might be wrong about that since I’m always wrong. Except for when I am right.
