Writer Brian Schirmer, artist Claudia Balboni (Star Trek), and colorist Marissa Louise’s new whodunit fantasy series Fairlady launched with a West Coast signing tour and early fan support. Fairlady #1 will be rushed back to print in order to keep up with the enthusiasm for the new series.

(Even casual fans remember Leon as the Nexus-6 synthetic human who shoots the Blade Runner giving him a Voight-Kompff empathy test during the film’s opening sequence inside the imposing Tyrell Corporation double pyramid).

This week’s throwback takes us back to April of 1988, where Chris Claremont and Alan Davis debuted a new team and comic title called Excalibur, a mix of Captain Britain and X-Men.
Norwick Robinson is a great up-and-coming young creator we have spotlighted before. His book Endigo Society is up for a Fan Favorite award at the 2019 East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention and we want to help push him over for win.

Batman Who Laughs #4 is in stores tomorrow. It continues Scott Snyder’s pretty epic storyline bringing Batman in conflict with not only the Batman Who Laughs, but Joker, and the Grim Knight as well. This issue sees a pretty epic confrontation between Batman and the Joker. One where Joker pretty much lays out the truth of what he wants out of the relationship with Batman. Check it out below. Gunpowder & Sky’s sci-fi label DUST announced today that it has acquired the rights to Kyle Higgins (Nightwing, Batman: Gates of Gotham), Alec Siegel (Batman Beyond) and Rod Reis’ (Winter Soldier) interstellar noir comic, Hadrian’s Wall, and has partnered with Higgins to develop into a feature film that he will write and direct.
