We all know that the majority of media options result into absolutely nothing on the first go round. Think of them as place holders for production companies. They want to grab the latest and greatest in hopes it blows up with popularity. If they see a market for creating a show or movie with the option, the long process of finding a screen writer to kick things off begin and then from there it evolves into something more. Even if it makes it past the script being written, it can still vanish quickly like a fart in the wind.

Scout Comics Stabbity Bunny on Hiatus

Scout Comics & Entertainment has had a spectacular past few months in both the comic book and entertainment worlds. We’ve announced a new corporate restructure this past October, along with multiple TV/Film deals and new series that will be hitting stores in 2019 and beyond.
Unfortunately, today’s announcement regards a more serious matter. We regret to inform everyone that our hit series, STABBITY BUNNY, has been put on hiatus due to the serious health problems of writer/creator Richard Rivera. As a result, Scout plans to cancel and re-solicit Stabbity Bunny issues #9 through #12 once they are fully completed by Richard and his team. Shazam #1 is in stores tomorrow. Just in time for the movie coming out next year, and featuring story by Geoff Johns, Shazam gets his own series again. Shazam has always centered around family. Especially the Marvel family. Billy Batson, and orphan, has surrounded himself with a makeshift family including Mary Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr., and several others. But Billy, an orphan who was living on the streets when he discovered the wizard, has only ever had his foster family.
