This week’s throwback takes us back to April of 1988, where Chris Claremont and Alan Davis debuted a new team and comic title called Excalibur, a mix of Captain Britain and X-Men.
Welcome once again to the another installment of the One Week Later Report. This week we’ll cover the books released on 4/3/2019.

You have to hand it to Marvel, this was likely one of the longest deaths of a major character until they decided to undead her, okay, from another Universe but still..
“You’re the creep who’s going to pay! I’m going to get you, Goblin! I’m going to destroy you slowly, and when you start begging for me to end it – I’m going to remind you of one thing – You KILLED the woman I love! And for that you’re going to DIE!” -Peter Parker (Spider-Man)

Every day is comic book day for most of us. I think the majority of us have comics on the mind every single day in some way or another. Wednesdays however, that’s the day we have new books out to talk about after getting them in hand to read, to flip and cherish.
This weeks MARVELous Monday is a bit different. Usually I window shop the Marvel Unlimited app to pick and choose sort of at random the books I cover based on just the cover art that catches my attention.
This week I actually am going with the book I found at Half Price Books for just a buck. It’s just a shame it wasn’t truly half price from it’s original 30 cents cover price.
We love independent and small press books here at CHU. It allows the writers and artists the freedom to create. Some of the best stuff comes from the individual creators.

Midtown has a lot of signings each month. They are really big on selling signed copies at cover price.
Posting their upcoming creator signing schedule helps us collectors who are not local to NYC to find out what upcoming issues we might find signed for sale on their website.

This one is a fun one. About a month or so back, we were talking about a “creeper” in the comments of a Wednesday Forum. So this Throwback Thursday goes back to 1968, to talk about First Appearance of the Creeper in Showcase #73.
