One Week Later Report for August 5th, 2020
Welcome once again to another installment of the One Week Later Report. Haven’t done one in a while, maybe now since we’re almost getting weekly hot books, seems worthy again to start pumping these reports out.

So it seems Robin King is really taking off. When Snyder claimed he was going to be in Death Metal #2, he didn’t necessarily fib because creators don’t nitpick the minuscule details we comic book nerds pick away at.
So here’s some of the key books you should not overlook in the next 2 weeks as they’re already taking off on secondary pre-sales. Yes, even if you don’t buy, read or collect DC books, grab a copy cause it could be easy money down the beaten speculator path.. then you can use those profits to buy the books you want.

Brubaker and Phillips are a dream team when it comes to storytelling. Brubaker is the master narrative writer while Phillips gritty dark and heavy outline approach does what he does best from pane to pane.

The print run is going to be massive. There’s likely going to be a ton of store variants. So go with Cover A if you can’t decide or buy the cover you like most. But looking forward to this new series since I really enjoyed God Country (as I’m still severely behind in catching up on Redneck).

? Peach Momoko’s Early and Rare Covers ?
I thought it’d be fun to do an article on ? Peach Momoko’s ? rarer and or harder to find covers which ultimately will be the winners long term. Now, my primary focus was normal released titles.
Since her rising popularity is increasing print runs on books, this is making them much easier to obtain, causing the value to not rise as fast. You know, that whole supply vs demand…

Captain Marvel #18 is in stores at the end of this month and Captain Marvel takes the title and mantle as the new Accuser in the big Empyre event (happens in Empyre #2, in which some are trying to claim the 2nd print is the one to grab as it was likely under ordered and FOC has already passed).
But what most aren’t talking about is who she discovers when she is tasked on her first mission as the Accuser to go and you know, Accuse.

Dead Reckoning’s Fall 2020 Titles
For all you military and war history buffs out there, I’m completely onboard with the graphic novels that depict war, past, present and future. Particularly the stories based on true stories.
Here’s the Fall 2020 lineup coming out of Dead Reckoning which even has one that’s a movie streaming on Netflix currently, which looks like a great addition to my Netflix queue.
